Job Description

As an Audio/Video Specialist at Across TheHorizon, you will be responsible for using DLSR &High Tech mobile phones to create video content for internal and external communications. In this role, you will manage video shoots from start to finish including writing, producing and editing video features for social media outlets and TV programs or commercials. You will also be responsible for jingles and all other voice over and voice recording related talk. Occasionally, you will also help with photography assignments and as such must know how to use a DSLR camera or be willing to learn. You will also be exposed to the drone photography and videography and as such must be open to learning new things. The ideal candidate must be ready to travel anywhere within and outside Nigeria.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for producing, shooting, and editing promotional, and technical videos for television and social media
• Implement YouTube tagging, keywords, and closed captions for SEO impact
• Coordinate video shoots, including setting up/tear down scheduling models, and set design
• Review YouTube analytics for monthly KPI reporting and ad-hoc reporting
• Create visual stories that are compelling and inspiring
• Shoot, edit and produce promotional and technical videos
• Work with audio recording and post-production techniques
• Shoot video with DSLR cameras and traditional video cameras
• Amend final designs as needed until the standard is met
• Innovative and creative ways of thinking about getting the job done
Skills/Requirements:
• Experience with digital audio/video production, and the Adobe platform of products (Premiere, Audition, After Effects, Photoshop, etc.)
• 2-5 years of video & multimedia production experience
• Proficiency in motion graphics, animation, photography etc.
• A background in basic cinematography is a plus (lighting interviews, sets, etc.)
• Have a strong familiarity with social media platforms and the latest trends and best practices for multimedia applications
• Ability to work individually and on self-driven projects as well as part of a team
• Comfortable in a small to mid-sized business environment
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Work well under stress to meet project deadlines and meticulous attention to detail

Experience:

• Adobe platform of products: 2 years (Required)
• Video, Audio & multimedia production: 3 years (Required)
