These are short-term professional work opportunities at your school which can last a few months or several years and can be offered to students by certain organizations too. This article includes more fellowships for the sciences and a few for the Art.

1. Postdoctoral Fellowship at Rocky Vista University in the United States

Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure-track 12-month position at the Teaching Postdoctoral Fellowship level in the discipline of Anatomy as a member of the Clinical Anatomy/OPP Department, Colorado campus. The successful applicant will be experienced at delivering lectures in Human Clinical Gross Anatomy and conducting Gross Anatomy cadaveric dissection laboratories.

2. Fully Funded Stanford Biodesign Innovation Fellowship

The Biodesign Innovation Fellowship is a 10-month experience that equips aspiring innovators with a proven, repeatable process to identify important healthcare needs, invent novel health technologies to address them and, prepare to implement those products into patient care through start-up, corporate channels, or other channels. In addition, the Innovation Fellows become part of the Stanford Biodesign community, which is a life-long, worldwide network of innovators passionate about improving healthcare.

3. Fully Funded CERN Junior Fellowship Program

Fully Funded CERN Junior Fellowship Programme is aimed at graduates from universities or higher technical institutes in a wide range of applied sciences, computing and engineering with limited or no work experience, looking to work in a research group.

4. The Colt Foundation Fellowships in United Kingdom

Every year, the Colt Foundation awards up to four Fellowships to international students to study for a Ph.D. in occupational or environmental health at any university in the United Kingdom. Fellowships are normally for three years, but the Cold Foundation considers applications for awards over a shorter period from applicants who are currently pursuing a Ph.D. but do not have full funding from other sources to cover the completion of their degree.

6. Fellowships at the State University of New Jersey in the United States of America

Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a candidate to undertake Postdoctoral Fellowship at Computational Neuroscience for the Center for Advanced Biotechnology and Medicine (CABM) at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Reporting to the Principal Investigator, the Post Doc Fellow will use modern computational modeling and data analysis methods to understand the roles of specific inhibitory and excitatory neuron types found in hippocampal microcircuits in controlling spatial learning and memory.

The Global Network of Women Peacebuilders calls for application for  Cora Weiss Fellowship Program 2020. The Fellowship aims to support the development of young women peacebuilders and ensure that more young people share Cora’s vision for sustainable peace and gender equality as strong and integral parts of our global culture. The Fellowship provides a young woman with the opportunities and platforms to elevate the concerns and priorities of women and girls in their country in global policy discussions at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City.
